Questions coaches ask

Who can coach on Rally?

Tennis coaches in Bangkok aged 20 or over. Anyone can apply, and the Rally team approves each coach after the checks. Only then can your page go live.

What checks are there?

Identity, coaching qualification, experience and a short interview, plus a police certificate if you teach under-18s. Each check says what to send.

You agree separately before uploading an ID document or a police certificate. Only the Rally team’s Owners and Admins can open them, and they’re deleted on the schedule the privacy notice sets out.

Do students pay through Rally?

No. Rally doesn’t take payments. You choose how students pay you (cash, bank transfer, PromptPay or card) and your page shows it. The details, like a PromptPay number, show only to students with a lesson booked or in the last 30 days, or a fee to pay.

What happens when someone cancels late or doesn’t turn up?

Your cancellation policy sets the free-cancellation time and the fees. A late cancellation or a no-show is recorded as a fee in baht; you collect it your own way, then mark it paid or waive it.

A student can dispute a fee, and you answer with a note. You can also have an unpaid fee stop that student booking you again until it’s settled, after a time you choose, or switch that off.

Do I have to accept every booking?

No. Booking approval is on unless you switch it off: each booking waits for you to accept or decline it, and a request you don’t answer expires on its own, so the time opens up again.

Students already book me by phone or LINE. Can I keep that?

Yes. Add those lessons yourself from Schedule so your free times stay right. Lessons you add carry no automatic fees.

I’m going away. Can I pause bookings?

Yes: take a break, with the day you’re back if you know it. Nobody can book during the break, and lessons already booked stay booked. When you’re back, resume bookings in one tap.

Can I teach under-18s?

Yes, once you’ve passed the safeguarding check, which includes a police certificate. Accounts are for people aged 20 or over, so an adult books for the young player.

Is there an app to download?

Nothing to download from an app store: Rally works in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your Home Screen. On iPhone, do that first so push alerts can reach you.
